Latin American Counterfeits

Note: These do not fall into my areas of expertise so you will need to make your own determinations as to correct ruler for the date or assayer's marks and whether struck or cast. I will give my opinion, if I have one. They are valued based on what I paid and what I have seen them sell for.

United States Coins

Image Description Price
Worthy Coin Silver Store Token 1938-1988 The Worthy Coin Store Card, struck in pure .999 silver and marked so on the edge. 1OZ. A great motif with obverse copying the 1792 Birch Cent and the reverse outlining the Corrado Romano story. The toning and subtle color on the 'coin' looks better in hand then in my pictures.
Note: Price subject to change with the volatile nature of silver lately.
SOLD
1971-S Ike Dollar Olympic Counterstamp Ike Dollar 1971-S, and it appears to be 40% silver. Actually the host for a very unusual counterstamp for the FEB 13-24 1980 games at Lake Placid. With motto within counterstamp ' FASTER-HIGHER-STRONGER'.
A very unusual piece with both the host and counterstamp in very high grade. This would make a highlight to either a counterstamp, Ike Dollar or Olympic Memorabilia collection. I have never seen another and I have looked as I have owned this one for a long time.
